Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will be holding an Alzheimer walk this weekend.
Deb Monteleone, with Sunnyview, told our radio station that the walk is sponsored by The Alhzeimer Assocation with Butler County having its own chapter. She says you can either sign-up online to walk with Sunnyview or even put your own team together and walk in the event.
Monteleone says Sunnyview tries to make this a happy occasion for such a serious subject. Everyone who has a loved one who is fighting the disease will receive a flower.
The walk will take place around the campus of Butler County Community College. Registration will be at 8:30am at BC3’s Founder’s Hall on Saturday (10/8). The walk will be between 9am-12noon.
It’s free to participate and open to the public.
