Pennsylvania payrolls saw a big jump this past month according to the latest numbers from the Department of Labor.
In non-farming industries, payrolls jumped by 34,000 in February. The growth was primarily seen in manufacturing, transportation, and utilities.
The state’s unemployment rate also reached a post-pandemic low at 5.1 percent. Butler County’s unemployment continues to fall below the state at 4.4 percent.
