Multiple fire departments responded to the scene of a fire at Moraine State Park Wednesday evening.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 6:30 p.m. for smoke coming from vents at the Moraine Bike Rental building on North Shore Drive in Worth Township.
Crews from Portersville, Prospect, Harmony, and Slippery Rock were among those dispatched to find heavy smoke coming from the structure.
According to the Portersville Fire Department, the fire reportedly started due to a lightning strike.
Photos from the scene show heavy damage to the roof of the building, but the full extent of damage is not known.
