State police are releasing more information on a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Connoquenessing Township.
It happened just after 7:30 a.m. on Evans City Road at the intersection with Stevenson Road—about a half mile west of the Butler Farm Market.
19-year-old Chance Downing of East Butler told police he looked down at a text message when he crossed over into the oncoming lane and hit a trailer that was being towed by 31-year-old Kolter Furka of Butler.
Downing’s car then flipped over onto its passenger side when it was hit by another vehicle driven by 54-year-old Scott Cribbs of Creekside.
Downing suffered a minor neck injury, but no treatment was necessary. No other injuries were reported.
