The Butler Area Public Library continues to present activities as well as books and other resources to the community.
Teens and tweens are invited to cake-pop decorating activity on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. Participants will be challenged to recreate professionally decorated cake-pops. Grades 4 through 12 are welcome but registration is required.
Tuesday at 6 p.m., the library will be hosting a new adult book club with a focus on classic literature. This month’s pick is I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou which is available through the library system or as an ebook or audiobook.
A week from Saturday, the library has planned a small group STEM activity for kids at least six years old. Engineering concepts like mazes and gears will be explored and the activity is limited to 10 kids so registration is required.
