Students at a local school district are holding a fundraiser later this week to benefit kids in Ukraine.
A group of Seneca Valley students at Ryan Gloyer Middle School have been handcrafting sunflower pins as well as blue and yellow bracelets.
These items will be sold for $1 during lunches on Thursday and Friday. All proceeds raised through this effort will be donated to UNICEF to support Ukrainian children in need.
Four Middle School students in particular with ties to Ukraine have led this effort including the selection of UNICEF as their charity of choice.
