Pennsylvania’s Acting Secretary of Health says the state is getting prepared to move on from the current phase of the pandemic.
“Aside from continued vaccination, we know the key to our transition will be a strong public health infrastructure that can support our needs as we move into the next phase of our response and recovery,” Keara Klinepeter said.
She added that as cases, hospitalizations, and deaths due to COVID all decline, it’s important to acknowledge the great work that has been done to get Pennsylvania to this spot.
Klinepeter again encourages vaccinations and booster shots for those who haven’t gotten one yet. Klinepeter also noted that more than 76 percent of Pennsylvanians 18 and older are vaccinated.
