There was another drop in COVID cases and hospitalizations for Butler County this week.
According to Department of Health data, there were 326 new cases this week, which is down about 170 from last week.
Hospitalizations have dropped as well, although that number isn’t all that dramatic. As of yesterday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 23 patients for the coronavirus, with three people in the ICU. That’s down five patients from last Friday.
There were six additional deaths for the county this week, bringing the countywide death toll to 696.
