Masks will soon be optional for students in the Seneca Valley School District.
According to our news partners at WPXI, the board voted last night to make masks optional starting next week.
The board also considered dropping the mask mandate entirely or tying the mandate to a certain percentage of new cases. Both votes did not pass.
As of Monday, Seneca Valley had three active COVID cases in the entire district.
