Martin Truex, Jr. led a race-high 187 laps to earn his seventh career victory, and second race at Dover International Speedway Sunday. Truex moves on to the second segment of this season’s Chase for the Championship. Kyle Busch was the runner-up followed by rookie Chase Elliott. Tony Stewart, Kyle Larson, Jamie McMurray and Chris Buescher were eliminated from the Chase Sunday.
The NHRA was at Maple Grove Speedway near Reading Sunday:
–Tommy Johnson topped point-leader Ron Capps in the Funny Car.
–Antron Brown topped Brittany Force in the Top Fuel Division.
–Vincent Nobile topped Greg Anderson in the Pro Stock.
