Over a hundred Butler County residents are on their way to the nation’s capitol for the 49th annual March For Life.
The theme of this year’s march is “Equality Begins in the Womb” with a pre-rally starting at 11 a.m. followed by the march at noon on the National Mall then up Constitution Avenue.
According to local organizers, two buses and two vans from churches in Meridian, Herman, Middlesex Township left early today and are expected to return later tonight. Most of the vehicles are filled at or close to capacity.
For those unable to make the trip, many local churches are holding special prayer services today in support of the mission of those who are participating in the march.
Last year’s rally took place virtually as a result of safety concerns about COVID-19.
