A local lawmaker has nominated several area students to United States Military Academies.
U.S. Congressman Mike Kelly nominated a total of 20 individuals for the graduating class of 2026.
Individuals to have been nominated to at least one of the U.S. Service Academies include Seneca Valley students Garrett DeVault and Tyler Yurich, Butler Area students Caravel Losch and Diesel Losch, and North Catholic student Julian LaPietra.
