A new primary care physician has joined the staff of Butler Health System.
Dr. Joseph Dougherty joined BHS Primary Care last month specializing in Family and Sports Medicine. He is seeing patients at the North Main Street Extension facility.
Dr. Dougherty is an expert on concussion management in athletes and has been the team physician for various high schools around the area as well as the Pittsburgh Pirates. In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Dougherty has been named as the Founding Program Director of the Butler Health System’s new Family Medicine Residency Program.
