State police are providing more details surrounding a deadly shooting that happened earlier this month in Venango County.
Police were called to a home in the 200 block of Carls Road in Rockland Township around 2 a.m. on December 12th. Upon arrival they found 29-year-old Peter Bernardo Spencer of Pittsburgh dead in the front yard due to apparent gunshot wounds.
Police interviewed an unnamed 25-year-old man and three other individuals shortly thereafter. However all four were released and no charges have been filed as of Wednesday.
Police say autopsy results are still pending and the investigation is ongoing pending those results along with ballistic reports and toxicology reports.
Police are asking the public remain patient as their investigation continues.
