The Pennsylvania Game Commission is asking for help from hunters and trappers around the state to learn more about the effect poisons might be having on animals like bobcats, fishers, and otters.
The Commission is asking for the submission of carcasses from these species from those who have recently harvested one as part of a study being conducted with the Wildlife Futures Program.
Carcasses can be skinned but must have all organs and skull intact when frozen so that the consumption of rodents that may have been poisoned can be studied.
Anyone interested in participating is asked to contact the Game Commission by email or call the regional Game Commission office where the animal was taken.
