The FBI is asking for help from the public in identifying potential minor victims who may have been coerced into producing sexually explicit photos or videos or engaging in sexual conduct.
A recent investigation into a 22-year-old Penn Hills man named Kuang Myat Kyaw has resulted in four counts of Coercion or Enticement of a Minor to Engage in Illegal Sexual Activity.
According to law enforcement, between August of 2020 and March of 2021 Kyaw used the internet platform Snapchat and his cell phone to influence four teenagers to engage in sexual activity. Kyaw allegedly posed as Snapchat support or as another young teenager in order to get access to nude images before extorting the victim the produce additional sexual content through a “7 Day Challenge”.
Anyone who may have been victimized by online identities including jokerxkris, krxs.com, or Savnxh is asked to visit the FBI’s website and complete a short questionnaire. Identities will be kept confidential.
