Some are calling it the “graying of America” over the next decade, as Baby Boomers are all set to turn 65 by 2030.
But, local financial advisor Howie Pentony says that’s a ripe opportunity to leap at a growing industry.
“Old curmudgeons like me are turning 65 every eight seconds. I mean, that’s just an incredible number,” Pentony said. “If I were looking for some place to invest money, that’s got to be in there.”
Pentony also adds that future job seekers should look into the aging field.
“I’m telling people with grandchildren that if you want to give them an idea, tell them to get a job in that industry where they would be serving the baby boomers who are turning 65.”
Right now, baby boomers make up an estimated 74 million of the American population.
