For the first time in 628 days, Slippery Rock University Football will be taking the field tonight. The Rock had their season canceled last year due to the pandemic, but they return to action tonight in Detroit as they take on Wayne State.
SRU was ranked #5 in the country in the preseason coaches poll, and are also preseason #1 in the PSAC West.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. Pregame coverage begins on The Rock Station 97.7 FM with the Coach Shawn Lutz Show at 5:30 p.m. Bob Cupp and Glenn Thompson have the call.
