Nearly 60,000 pounds of frozen chicken that was sold at Aldi and other stores is being recalled due to salmonella concerns.
It’s from the company Serenade based out of Indiana and includes brands such as Dutch Farms, Milford Valley, and Aldi’s Kirkwood brand.
The chicken ranges from frozen, raw, breaded, and pre-browned chicken.
The items recalled were dated on February 24th and 25th of this year.
So far, U.S. officials have connected 28 cases of salmonella that are likely related to the chicken.
