Seneca Valley School District is outlining their safety plan for returning to school this year.
District officials say masks will be recommended but not required of students and staff. They especially encourage unvaccinated and high-risk individuals to mask up.
Masks will be required though for students on school buses per federal law.
Also the district says they will be maximizing distance between seats in classrooms and focus on outdoor activities.
Students and staff are also encouraged to provide the district with a copy of their vaccination card because those who are fully vaccinated will not have to quarantine if they come in close contact with a COVID positive individual.
