All veterans are invited to attend a unique event Friday at the Butler VA.
VA Butler Healthcare is joining with Butler County Human Services to bring ‘Stand Down’ to the VA facility on New Castle Road in Butler Township Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The goal of this event is to provide homeless veterans and those at risk of being homeless with information and services like immediate housing unit availability, legal advice, health care, education, and free meals.
Free transportation is available from the Grapevine Center, St. Peters Lutheran Church in Evans City, Cabot United Methodist Church Food Bank, United Methodist Church in Petrolia and the North Butler Feed My Sheep Food Pantry in Slippery Rock.
