A section of a highway in Nashville, Tennessee will be re-named in the honor of a Butler native who was murdered while heading to work.
Officials in Wilson County unanimously approved re-naming a portion of I-440 after Caitlyn Kaufman, who was killed on that section of highway in December.
Kaufman was driving to work as an ICU nurse when she was shot inside her car by two men. Those two men are now facing criminal homicide charges.
Kaufman was a 2012 graduate of Butler Senior High School and had moved to Nashville to work as a nurse following graduation from BC3.
