Non-hunters using state game lands this fall will need to be aware of revised regulations about wearing fluorescent orange material.
The Pennsylvania Board of Game Commissioners recently revised rules about the requirement to wear orange between November 15th and December 15th.
Previously, Sundays were excluded from this rule but now since hunting will be allowed on three Sundays during that time period, hikers and other non-hunters will be required to wear at least 250 square inches of clothing on head, chest, and back combined at all times.
Those using shooting ranges are exempted from this requirement.
