An event planned for this weekend in Cranberry Township to discuss ways to make the community more equal for everyone has been postponed.
“Addressing Racial Equality in our Community” had been scheduled for 7 p.m. Sunday at Rotary Amphitheater in Community Park with social distancing measures in place and masks required.
However, organizers later made the decision to postpone the event in compliance with state COVID-19 guidelines due to concerns about the anticipated size of the event. The event will be rescheduled and virtual discussions will continue to be held about how to achieve greater equality for everyone.
This event is organized by the Cranberry Area Diversity Network in conjunction with the Council of Churches and Level Up North.
