There has been a change in venue for the upcoming Cornhole Tournament with PACT.
On Saturday, July 18, 2020, the benefit event will now be held at Alameda Park. The original location was going to be outside the Fieldhouse Restaurant along Rt. 356 in southern Butler County but the restaurant had to cancel.
The event is being put on by Prayers Answered Charity Tournament; a local group that hosts sporting events in order to benefit someone in need. They held softball, flag football, and volleyball games.
Ryan Good is a coordinator and a board member of PACT and talked to our newsroom about the events. He says this year’s beneficiary will be a local family. The father of the family has passed away, there are 6 children, and they recently lost their house to a fire.
You only need 2 people for a team and it’s only $50 per team. The event will have a 9am start. For more info, go to PACT Trust’s Facebook page or PACT-trust.com.
PACT was established in 2017 and is a faith-based group. It serves various locations ranging from Slippery Rock, to Butler, to Armstrong, and into Indiana.
