Butler Health System officials say another person has died from COVID-19 at the hospital.
BHS reported the death to the state Department of Health yesterday. This is the eighth death attributed to the coronavirus at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Meanwhile, no new COVID-19 positive cases were announced in Butler County today.
Statewide there were 323 new cases today—bringing the statewide total over 79,000.
About 9,000 negative tests were announced today—that puts the total number of negative tests over 513,000.
The Pennsylvania death toll is now 6,243.
