Even though June 14th is Flag Day, many government offices are observing the holiday today.
The Butler County Government Center, Annex Building, Courthouse and municipal courts are closed. The Butler City Building is closed.
Flag Day is not an official federal holiday, so mail will still be delivered and most banks are open.
June 14th is the day the Continental Congress adopted the American flag in 1777.
