The Zelienople Public Library has made the difficult decision to cancel two popular fundraising events for later this year.
The Library’s board of trustees originally postponed the Wine Walk in Harmony from June to September but ongoing concerns about managing large crowds with continued health concerns have resulted in the cancelation of that event.
The Zelie on Tap event hosted by Zelienople Community Park in the fall has also been canceled due to COVID-related visitor safety concerns.
The library plans on both events returning in 2021 but in the meantime is relying on donations to help maintain programming and materials. The Zelienople Public Library relies on donations and fundraisers for a third of their yearly budget.
