Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Butler County have been busy in recent weeks including offering a webinar for kids today.
Thursday, a group of local Master Gardeners spent time tending to the pollinator garden at the Mars Area Public Library. Butler County Master Gardeners have also recently raised funds to purchase plants that are then donated to those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
A webinar called “Growing Gardeners: Plants Move In! for Youth” is scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. today. Master Gardeners will host this program for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade and discuss topics such as soil, seeds, watering, compost and pest education.
