Even though the annual Butler Memorial Parade will not be happening this year, organizers are planning a small ceremony and display.
According to Butler County Veterans Services Director John Cyprian, a small display will be placed in Diamond Park on Monday, May 25th to remember residents of Butler County Killed in Action.
Around 11 a.m., speakers will make some brief comments about the meaning of Memorial Day as well as the reading of 342 names of the local veterans who have passed away since last Memorial Day.
