Two people are in the Mercer County Jail after a high speed chase that went into the state of Ohio.
Police say it happened Saturday afternoon just after 1 p.m. when an officer attempted to pullover a car on I-79 in Springfield Township.
That’s when 21-year-old Taylor Perkins of North Braddock sped off and turned onto Interstate 80. Perkins then went into Ohio, before coming back eastbound in Pennsylvania.
Police were eventually able to stop the car by using spike strips.
Perkins is being charged with fleeing police and a DUI. Her passenger, 28-year-old Robert Broadie of Pittsburgh, was also arrested and charged with possession.
