Crews are still searching for a man who fell into a creek at McConnell’s Mill State Park earlier this weekend.
According to our news partners at WPXI, an unidentified 38-year-old man fell from a hiking path into Slippery Rock Creek around 2:30pm on Saturday. Officials say that the man fell about 100 yards downstream of a covered bridge.
Approximately 50 volunteers from eight local volunteer fire departments, along with state police and two helicopters were on scene to assist with the search.
Officials say that their search was still ongoing at 7:45pm on Saturday.
