The Butler County Alliance for Children Child Advocacy Center is introducing a new initiative with a goal of minimizing family stress.
Play Safe Stay Safe is an effort to collect new, unopened board games, card games, and outside games to donate to families throughout the county.
The Alliance plans to work with school food programs to have bags of games available for families who would like them. Hopefully these games will facilitate bonding, improve the enjoyment of family time, and decrease the likelihood of stress boiling over to anger and abuse.
Those who would like to donate to this cause can visit the Alliance’s Amazon wish list or order from a favorite online game store. Items should be delivered to the Center on East Jefferson Street or contact the Center to arrange for pickup.
