Over 1,000 Butler County residents are without power this morning following strong overnight storms.
A mix of powerful winds and lightning rolled through the area just after midnight. The storms led to numerous downed wires and power outages.
There were reported wind gusts as high as 70 mph in Western Pennsylvania.
However, the storms moved through the area fairly quickly, so flooding wasn’t an issue for most residents.
