Concerns about physical health continue to remain high in this time of global pandemic but the social distancing and isolation can pose an increased danger for mental health as well.
The Center for Community Resources has partnered with the state Department of Human Services to offer a 24/7 mental health and crisis support line for people dealing with emotions such as anxiety.
Callers are invited to speak with staff who are trained in trauma-informed principles and will listen, assess needs, and refer to local support.
The number to reach this toll-free Mental Health Support line is 1-855-284-2494.
