Concordia Lutheran Ministries has announced that they have a resident that has tested positive for coronavirus.
On the company’s Facebook page, a statement was issued that Concordia learned of the positive result of COVID 19 on Thursday. The resident lives at Concordia at the Orchard, in Center Twp., although the individual is currently at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Concordia says it’s taking the vital signs of their residents multiple times per shift and are actively monitoring for signs and symptoms. Residents have been isolated since March 29th and that policy will stay in place.
As for caregivers, they are using N95 face masks and PPE when caring for patients with respiratory symptoms; while other staff members are wearing surgical masks in appropriate situations.
