The Butler County Family YMCA continues to welcome members and guests as usual at both the Butler and Cranberry locations but some changes are being made as a result of the coronavirus situation.
Although this situation is evolving rapidly, YMCA administrators believe that an increased effort to clean and disinfect multiple times each day along with flyers posted in restrooms and locker rooms will keep people as safe as possible. Hand sanitizer stations are located near the main entrances of each YMCA facility.
Based on information available from health experts, the Y has decided to cancel the Good Friday Breakfast scheduled for April 10th as well as postpone the Healthy Kids Days at both branches with new dates to be announced soon.
Other classes or programs may be postponed or canceled in the weeks ahead as administrators continue to determine what precautions are best to take.
