A new music venue will be coming to Pittsburgh near the PPG Paints Arena.
According our news partners at WPXI-TV, the Penguins are a part of a deal along with Live Nation Entertainment that will construct a 90,000 square-foot music venue at the site of the former Civic Arena.
The live music venue will be a “three-in-one” design with a stage, seating area, and an outdoor lawn.
It will be built on top of a parking garage and have a capacity of 6,600 people.
Construction is expected to be completed by the summer of 2022.
