There is still time to sign up for an upcoming food distribution program for local military members.
A free Military Share distribution will take place from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, March 9th at the Butler Army National Guard Armory.
Military Share is a program designed to provide nutritious food for veterans and military families. Each eligible and registered family will receive items such as fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, dairy items, and pantry staples based on available inventory.
The deadline to register to be able to participate in this program is today, Friday, February 28th. Contact the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank for more information.
