The class of South Fayette was on display tonight as they defeated Knoch at home by a final score of 49-14. On the first play from scrimmage for South Fayette it was a 70-yard screen pass for a touchdown. Knoch came right back on the very next series and scored on their own touchdown pass of 74-yards. The score was now tied at 7. South Fayette added two more touchdown passes in the first quarter, passes of 80-yards and 11-yards. After the first quarter, South Fayette led 21-7. In the second, Knoch was shut out and South Fayette scored two more passing touchdowns. At the half South Fayette led 35-7. On the very first series of the second half South Fayette, scored on a 21-yard touchdown pass and led Knoch 42-7. South Fayette added their final touchdown on a 57-yard touchdown run. Knoch scored a late fourth quarter 26-yard touchdown run and the game ended 49-14. South Fayette moves their record to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play. For Knoch their record goes to 1-3 overall and 1-2 in conference play. Knoch is back in action next Friday night at home, it is homecoming for Knoch.
