A new playground in Cranberry Township will open to the public this weekend following a dedication ceremony.
The Grand Opening of the Out-of-the-Park Playground at Graham Park is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday. The park is a brand new, fully-accessible playground that is wrapped around the outfield of Graham Park’s Miracle League ballfield.
Following the ceremony, a game on the newly-resurfaced Miracle League Ballfield will be played next door to the playground at 10:15 a.m. Then at 11 a.m., the pirate ship shaped playground will open to the public.
The playground is a combined effort of the Cranberry Township Community Chest, Children’s Institute, UPMC, Seneca Valley School District, Pirates Charities and the Miracle League of Southwestern PA.
