‘Septemberfest’ will be celebrated at Butler County-owned Alameda Park in Butler Township on Sunday.
Admission is free.
Various activities- including a Youth Fishing Derby (real fish will be put in Alameda Pool), games, face-painting, music, a vendor show, and a car cruise- will run from 9am to 4pm.
There are fees if you want to bring your car for the cruise or if you want to participate in the fishing contest, which runs from 11am to 3:30pm. There are two age groups:
-Ages 8 and under are from 11:00am-1:00pm
-Ages 9-12 are from 1:30pm-3:30pm
Advance registration is being accepted at the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department. Advance registration is not necessary, but is appreciated, and you will be able to get to your “spot” faster, and save money on your registration. The cost is $9.00/angler. Please bring your own tackle, fishing pole, and bait.
Please note: All anglers pre-registered can check in at the Alameda Waterpark. Those needing to register must check in at the Septemberfest Registration Tent prior to coming over to the Alameda Waterpark area.
