A local man is facing multiple charges after police say he tried to steal merchandise, gift cards and money from area businesses.
According to Butler Township Police, 33-year-old Michael Guy of Butler opened a bank account earlier this month at the Butler Armco Employees Credit Union with the intent of writing fraudulent checks.
The police were contacted by David’s Hallmark at Butler Commons, which led to their investigation.
