After an investigation that spanned nearly a year, a Butler woman was charged Thursday with child endangerment charges after two toddlers were burned.
Butler Township Police began an investigation into 33-year-old Beth Ann Krason after two children were alleged to have been injured while in her care back in November and December of 2015.
According to the police, Krason was supervising a 1-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl at residences on Evans City Road and at Whitestown Village when they were burned.
The boy sustained a second-degree burn on his right forearm and the girl sustained a second-degree hot liquid burn on her neck and shoulder.
Authorities allege Krason did not seek immediate medical attention for the children.
