This week is Child Passenger Safety Week and the Pennsylvania State Police will host free child safety seat checks throughout the state.
All checks are free and will help parents ensure they have the right car seat for their child and it is fitted properly.
In Butler County, the seat check will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Department on Route 19 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
