A man was able to escape an early Saturday morning fire at his Jefferson Township home.
The fire started about 2:30 a.m. at a home on Hannahstown Road.
Firefighters from several departments battled the flames for several hours. The home is reportedly a total loss.
The cause is thought to be electrical.
