The Pittsburgh Pirates failed to sweep the Cincinnati Reds with a 7-4 loss Sunday.
Starting pitcher Ivan Nova allowed five runs, three earned in three innings. He allowed nine hits. Sean Rodriguez hit his 17th home run for the Bucs.
The Bucs are off today and visit Milwaukee beginning tomorrow night. 13 games remain on their schedule. They remain five games back in the Wild Card race. Currently, the New York Mets and San Francisco Giants hold the Wild Card spots.
