The Pittsburgh Pirates improve their winning streak to four after sweeping the Cincinnati Reds in a double header on Saturday, winning by finals of 10-4 and 7-3.
Leading the Pirates offensively in game one was Josh Bell and Andrew McCutchen, who both collected three hits each. Alen Hansen also finished Game One with two hits. As for Game Two, Adam Fraizer led all Pirates hitters with three total hits. Sean Rodriquez (two hits, two runs, and one RBI) along with Josh Bell (two hits, two runs), also helped the Pirates’ offensive output in Game Two.
Jameson Taillon and Juan Nicasio were the winning pitchers on Saturday.
The Pirates will look to sweep the Reds this afternoon in Cincinnati. First pitch is set for 1:10pm.
