Peoples TWP presented a $1,000 check Friday morning to The Butler County Humane Society through their PEOPLES Eat, Drink and Help program.
The check was presented at The Butler Hot Dog Shoppe off Evans City Road. The Butler Hot Dog Shoppe selected the local Humane Society as their charity of choice and donated an additional $200.
For every doggie deal purchased at The Hot Dog Shoppe in August, PEOPLES donated fifty cents to The Butler County Humane Society. All money received goes toward helping animals in our community.
The PEOPLES Eat, Drink and Help program is designed to support small businesses, local charities and help build a stronger community.
