The public is invited to attend an event this weekend to benefit Special Olympics of Butler County.
‘Stepping Forward For Down Syndrome’ takes place Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at Alameda Park in Butler Township.
The day will include a 5K & a 1K run/walk, as well as a picnic, 50/50 raffle, face painting and basket raffle.
The road to the Carousal Shelter will be closed from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. for the safety of the participants.
